Aktion Konzept und Utopie

Institutberlin ist aus einer Künstlerinitiative entstanden und stellt sich in den Bereichen Aktion, Konzept und Utopie seit 2005 in dem Kreuzberger Projektraum an der Naunynstraße vor. Das Institut sieht sich als Basispunkt äußerer Aktivitäten im Spannungsfeld des öffentlichen Raumes und der Kulturseele.  Aktivitäten in streetart, Video, Fotografie werden in einen konzeptuellen Zusammenhang gebracht. Das Institutberlin untersucht Orte der besonderen Schönheit im politischen, historischen und alltäglichen Kontext. Auch Gastkuratoren können im Institut tätig werden. Das Institutberlin hat seine Basis in der Naunynstraße, wird aber genau so gut an anderen Orten und in anderen Städten aktiv, da das Institut sehr spontan auf Situationen, Ereignisse und Ortzusammenhänge reagiert und Ausstellungskonzepte entwickelt.

Institutberlin has emerged from an artists' initiative and has been presenting itself in the fields of action, concept and utopia since 2005 in the Kreuzberg project space at Naunynstraße. The institute sees itself as a basic point of external activities in the tension field of the public space and the cultural seas. Activities in streetart, video, photography are brought into a conceptual context. The Institut berlin examines places of particular beauty in the political, historical and everyday context. Also guestcurators can work in the institute. The institute has its base in the Naunynstrasse, but it is equally active in other places and in other cities, as the institute responds very spontaneously to situations, events and oriental connections and develops exhibition concepts.
